Simi’s Biography
Simisola Bolatito Kosoko (born April 19, 1988) is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress better known by her stage name Simi. She began her career as a gospel singer, releasing her debut studio album, Ogaju, in 2008. She also served as one of the top judges on Nigerian Idol Season 7 in 2022. After releasing “Tiff,” a song that was nominated for Best Alternative Song at The Headies 2015, she rose to stardom in 2014. Simi secured a record deal with X3M Music in 2014, however once her contract expired in May 2019, she departed the label. On September 8, 2017, she released her second studio album, Simisola. Omo Charlie Champagne, Vol. 1 was her third studio album.
